THE CHALLENGE

Running lunch-and-learns at your locations shouldn't be this fragmented.

You invest time, space, and resources into hosting continuing education events for architects, engineers and designers that are delivered by external providers. But the process of managing them is still largely manual, disconnected, and difficult to track.

Fragmentation

Managing multiple invitations, attendee registrations, and event logistics across email, paper sign-in sheets, spreadsheets, and phone calls adds up fast.

No visibility

From who pre-registered to when the event ends, there is no centralized record of who attended or whose credits were reported.

Attendee privacy

Printed sign-in sheets offer no attendee consent and no privacy protection. Names, membership numbers, and email addresses leave the room with the rep, shared with parties the attendee never agreed to.

THE SOLUTION

Everything your location needs to host CEU Events, delivered by external providers.

A CEU Events Places account connects your location to the provider, presenter, and the events during the continuing education process. You will be able to access and collaborate on event details in real time.

Approve the providers you partner with
Instructors of approved providers can request events at your locations. No more unfiltered inbound from unknown reps.
Digital registrations, no printed lists, no multiple sign ups.
Streamline attendee experience with fully digital registration process. Attendees can easily sign up on their own using a single link—eliminating the need for multiple invitations, paper rosters, and manual sign-ups.
Automatic certificates and next-business-day credit reporting
Credits are issued and certificates are automatically available the moment they are marked as Attended by the instructor. Credits are then reported to all applicable governing bodies the next business day based on course approvals, automatically. No manual submission, no waiting, no missed windows. Attendees never need to follow up, and neither do you.
Manage multiple locations from one account
Operating more than one location? Add all of your locations under a single Places account and manage events, providers, and attendees across all of them from one place. You can assign a manager to each location, giving them the same tools to manage events at the location level while HQ maintains firmwide visibility and control.
Courses organized by state boards and associations
Attendees can find exactly which courses count toward their state license or association membership, whether that is AIA, IDCEC, USGBC, or their state board. You and your location managers will be able to search for courses by provider and by the specific credits you need. No more guessing whether your state licensing board will accept the credits.

PRIVACY

Your attendees' data stays where it belongs

When a rep leaves your building with a paper sign-in sheet, your attendees' names,  membership numbers, contact information go with them — and can end up with third parties they never agreed to share their information with.

Contained within the platform

With CEU Events Places, attendee data is only accessible to you, your location manager, the presenter running the event, and the provider who owns the program—the people who actually need it to issue credits. It is never printed, passed around, or shared beyond the platform. Furthermore, we never market to or spam your attendees.

HOW IT WORKS

Up and running in days

Setting up a Places account for your company takes days, not weeks. Here's what the process looks like from start to first event.

1

Check if your provider partners are already on CEU Events

Browse our provider directory to see if the brands and manufacturers you already partner with are on the platform. If they are, you are ready to move to the next step.

2

We set up your Places account — you just complete the details

Hit "Get Started," complete your location details and payment for the number of locations you want to start with, and we will have your Places account ready to go.

3

Build your approved provider list

Approve the brands and manufacturers you already partner with. Their presenters will then be able to request events at your locations directly through the platform.

 4

Approve or deny event requests

Once a presenter submits an event request through CEU Events, you or your location managers can review and approve it from your dashboard before anything gets scheduled.

5

Host the lunch-and-learns — attendees register digitally

Share the registration page link so attendees can pre-register in advance, or let them register on their own device. No paper, no printed lists, no sign-in sheet to manage.

6

Credits and certificates, done automatically

The moment the presenter marks attendance as attended, certificates are issued instantly and credit status is visible on the event details. AIA, IDCEC, and all other applicable governing bodies are reported the next business day. No need to request, manage, or distribute certificates in bulk!

CEU Events has been instrumental to our professional development department here at HKS. We have greatly reduced the need for administrative work and given our users a better experience for tracking their credits. The partnership with CEU events helps us lead with knowledge and bolster our influence in the industry.

What is a CEU Events Places account?
A CEU Events Places account gives your firm, showroom, design center, or association chapter a centralized hub to manage every continuing education event hosted at your location. You control which providers can request events, oversee digital registrations, and track attendee credits in real time — all without spreadsheets, paper sign-in sheets, or manual follow-up.
Who is CEU Events Places designed for?

Places accounts are designed for any organization that hosts continuing education events presented by external providers. This includes architecture and interior design firms, kitchen and bath showrooms, tile and flooring showrooms, lighting showrooms, product design centers, and professional association chapters.

What happens after I complete my order?

Once your payment is complete, our team will set up your CEU Events Places account and reach out with everything you need to get started. Setup typically takes a few business days. You will then be able to log in, add your locations, and begin building your approved provider list.

How does the provider approval process work?

Once your account is active you can browse the CEU Events provider directory and approve the brands and manufacturers you want to work with. Only instructors from your approved providers will be able to submit event requests at your locations. You can add or remove providers from your approved list at any time.

How do attendees register for events at my location?

Each event has a unique registration page link that you or the presenter can share with attendees in advance. Attendees can also register on their own device on the day of the event. There are no paper sign-in sheets and no printed employee rosters.

When are credits reported to AIA, IDCEC, and other governing bodies?

Credits are reported to all applicable governing bodies the next business day following the event, automatically. No manual submission is required from you or your attendees.

Can I manage more than one location under a single account?

Yes. You can add multiple locations under a single Places account and manage events, providers, and attendees across all of them from one dashboard. You can also assign a location manager to each site, giving them tools to manage events at the location level while your main account maintains full visibility and control.

Can my location managers have their own access?

Yes. You can assign dedicated location managers to each of your locations. They will have the tools to manage event requests, registrations, and attendee records at their specific location without affecting other locations in your account.
